A Make-up Spree

Sorry this is another MAC post but here are a few purchases I made there the other week...

I had a voucher to spend plus staff discount so I wanted to acutally get a few things and make the most of it.

Firstly I really wanted a brush just to apply eye-shadow, I do already have a little cheap-ish one but as I had the money to spend I thought I may as well get a MAC one to add to my little collection. I chose the 139 and I really like it for 'packing' the colour on, I hate that phrase but I couldn't think of any other way to say it! Anyway I've already used it hense the dirtyness...

So next I decided to get some eye-shadows. At first I only picked the two, 'Silver Ring' and 'Contrast' but when I told the MAC girl I only needed one more after these to fill my palette she convinced me to buy another, and to be fair it did make sense! She recommended 'Mythology' but I was slightly unsure of it, to me it looked abit 'reddish' which I wasn't too keen on, however when on it's not that strong of a colour and I really like it paired with Woodwinked!

I then decided I really wanted a creme blusher! I used to sometimes sneakily use my sisters and I loved the glowy, dewy look it gave my cheeks so I decided to purchase my own in the colour, 'Ladyblush'. I didn't realise how little of this you actually need! I have already made the mistake already of putting to much on and having to powder over it to tone it down.

The final item I purchased was a lipstick, I was debating between 'Costa Chic', 'Please Me' and 'St Germain' but since I love Corals I chose 'Costa Chic'. Neither of the picture's below capture the colour too well, I would say it's inbetween the two!
